If you haven’t been yet, Foodies Gourmet Café and Bodega is now open! You can find it tucked in a cute end cap of a new strip mall off East University on Gatewood Drive. That’s directly across from the Auburn movie theater.
Wondering what you’ll find once inside Foodies? A treasure trove of unique items ranging from fresh baked goods to international groceries to premier coffee.
The new café also serves made-to-order breakfast and lunch dishes. At breakfast, diners can choose from fresh custom biscuits, muffins, scones, Danishes, cinnamon rolls and more. The lunch specialty happens to be paninis.
Stock up on snacks
In addition to the café is the bodega. Shoppers will find one-of-kind grocery items such as infused olive oils and vinegars on tap.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious fudge in flavors like Kentucky Bourbon and Key Lime. Plus, there are truffle bars, dipped and topped large pretzel sticks and cake by the slice!
Don’t forget about those salty cravings. Load up on packaged flavored popcorn. Be bold with your choices. Try flavors like buffalo wings and dill pickle, for example.
Location
Foodies Gourmet Café and Bodega is located at 1212 Gatewood Drive Suite B1. It’s near both Spicer’s Music and Bruster’s Ice Cream. Currently, their hours are listed as Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
