An Alabama-based fast food restaurant has announced they are making their way to town! Milo’s in Auburn is set to start serving up their delicious slathered-in-house-made-sauce hamburgers this fall.

Birmingham’s Milo’s Hamburgers recently announced the opening of their 25th location in Auburn. Mary Duncan Proctor, the marketing director at Milo’s, told reporters that this comes after getting requests on social media for years about bringing Milo’s to the Auburn-Opelika area.
This new location will have the same flavorful and beloved Milo’s menu, which serves burgers smothered in their original house-made sauce, chicken, fried pickles, milkshakes, seasoned fries and their signature sweet tea. But that’s not all! Check out their full menu.
Milo’s in Auburn will feature a drive-thru and the option to eat inside or dine outdoors.
Proctor also told reporters that they expect to open the doors to this new location mid-to-late fall, just after football season starts.

According to their website, Milo’s Hamburgers is a fast food restaurant chain that was opened in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1946 by U.S. Army mess cook Milo. Quickly, the restaurant grew and began opening locations all over the Birmingham area.
The love for Milo’s doesn’t just stop at its food, though. In 1989, Milo’s expanded and started selling its famous Milo’s sweet tea in retail stores. And then in 2020, Milo’s even began selling its sauce, and in 2022, their fry salt, so that customers could bring those sweet Milo’s flavors home for themselves.
