Brunch lovers will soon have another hot spot to add to their rotation. Staks Pancake Kitchen in Auburn is coming to downtown this spring.
Auburn’s Staks Pancake Kitchen
What was once Fusion in downtown Auburn is set to become the state’s first Staks Pancake Kitchen. Established in 2015, the Tennessee-based brunch concept is now making its way to Alabama.
Currently, there are three Staks locations. There is one in Germantown, Tennessee. Another is in East Memphis, and a third is in nearby Southaven, Mississippi.
Each location is known for an out-of-this-world brunch experience. It all starts with fresh ingredients, homemade batters and locally sourced products.
The Auburn location plans to have two community tables featuring their own tabletop griddles. Visitors can gather around the table, get pancake batter, pick their toppings and customize their own stack of pancakes.
Like the other locations, Auburn will be open seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The stacked menu, along with monthly specials, will have you coming back again and again.
Speaking of the menu, Staks Pancake Kitchen in Auburn plans to offer the full menu with the addition of Auburn-specific dishes too.
That means guests can choose from fluffy pancakes, French toast, waffles, omelets, vegan skillets, melts, sandwiches and more. By pancakes, we mean sweet treats like the “Cinnamon Roll Stak,” “Birthday Cake” and “Strawberry Shortcake Stak,” just to name a few.
Furthermore, the handcrafted cocktails and coffees will elevate your meal to the next level. Sip on the “Cocktail of the Month” or a signature coffee such as “Café Brulée” or “Toasted S’more.”
When Staks Pancake Kitchen in Auburn opens its doors at 145 E. Magnolia Ave., be ready to eat. According to reports, the tentative opening date will be sometime in April.
